Sins We Know

09-06-13

If we would wear our secret sins
As shirts, and hats;
Who, then, would we revile?
Dismiss? Mock?
Accuse for shame?

What honest mirrors are
Our least beloved brothers, sisters
Whose public sins we know
Most pointedly within
Our own recusant hearts.
